Welcome to our Year 5 page.

A warm welcome back and a Happy 2025 to you all! We hope you have had a restful break and thank you for your kind gifts.  

PE: Tuesday and Wednesday. Please remember to have your kit in school on these days (including suitable outdoor sports shoes).

Spelling: Test and a new rule is introduced on Thursday. 

 

 

Spellings

The spelling overview for the next 6 weeks can be found below. 

This term, the children will be using pyramid writing  to practise their spellings. 
Please make sure that they are joining their letters neatly and only taking ONE page per weekly rule. This will allow them to keep all of their spellings in one book which they can refer back to and make useful for themselves. 

 

Homework due in on Friday 24^th January 

If you need paper, pens or other resources to help you complete your homework to the best standard, please ask and we are more than will to lend equipment and provide paper.
