Year 4

Welcome to our Year 4 page. On here you will find key information about our year group and other useful links.

PE days

Wednesday – Outdoor PE. Please come to school in your PE kit.

Thursday – Indoor PE. Please come to school in your PE kit.

Please ensure your child is wearing with their house t-shirt, or a plain t-shirt of the appropriate colour.

Homework

We will be sending homework out on a Friday. This will be either an English, Maths or Topic based piece. This will be due in by the following Wednesday for 2 dojo points or Thursday for 1 dojo point.

Spellings

We will be sending our weekly spellings out on a Friday. These will be tested the following Friday.

Reading

We encourage children to be reading as much as possible at home. Please record all of this in their reading diaries. We expect children to be reading at least 3 times a week. This can be their school reading books, or anything they want to read at home.

TTRS

Please practise TTRS as much as possible at home. Towards the end of Year 4, there will be a government times table test.
